Muse Wonder subscription means a Muse Code subscription, not Meta Model API usage billing. Meta lists Everyday Usage at $5/month, High Usage at $15/month, Power Usage at $50/month and Maximum Usage at $200/month. The allowance starts at 10–50 prompts per five hours on Everyday, then scales to 5x, 20x and 80x; Muse Wonder Full is included with Power and Maximum. The Meta Model API bills Muse Wonder per token: $4 per million input tokens, $0.20 per million cached input tokens and $20 per million output tokens.

What Muse Wonder subscription plans are available?
This guide covers the developer product Muse Code, not the consumer Muse AI app. Meta says Wonder will come to the Muse app later, first for subscribers; its announcement does not publish a separate consumer Wonder plan price. Muse Code has four plans: Everyday Usage, High Usage, Power Usage and Maximum Usage. Muse Wonder Full is included only with Power and Maximum; Muse Wonder is listed for Everyday Usage. The table summarizes Meta’s official subscription help page and model page as of October 13, 2026.
| Plan | Monthly price | Published allowance | Muse Wonder / Wonder Full |
|---|---|---|---|
| Everyday Usage | $5/month | 10–50 prompts every 5 hours, including image and video uploads | Muse Wonder; no Wonder Full |
| High Usage | $15/month | 5x Everyday Usage; more multimodal inputs | Includes Everyday benefits; no Wonder Full |
| Power Usage | $50/month | 20x Everyday Usage; higher file uploads and early feature access | Includes Muse Wonder Full |
| Maximum Usage | $200/month | 80x Everyday Usage | Includes Muse Wonder Full |

How do Muse Wonder subscription usage limits work?
Meta describes Everyday Usage as 10–50 prompts every five hours. High, Power and Maximum are listed as 5x, 20x and 80x Everyday Usage. The public pages do not promise a fixed monthly token count or say that every model, prompt length, file or tool call uses the same amount. Image and video uploads are included in the Everyday prompt window.
If you reach your plan limit, Meta says you can upgrade or wait for the limit to refresh. Maximum Usage customers must wait for a refresh. Subscription usage applies only to the Muse Code CLI while signed in to a Meta Model API account. Additional API keys under that account are billed pay-as-you-go. A subscription is not a general-purpose API balance.
Contributor mode is on by default for subscriptions. Meta says it provides more plan usage in exchange for permission to use your prompts, code, files, context and model responses to train future models. You can turn it off in Muse Code settings; future content will not be used for training unless you turn it back on.
How does Muse Wonder API pricing differ from a subscription?
Meta Model API lists Muse Wonder 1.0 with a 1M-token context window and these per-million-token rates:
| Billing item | USD per million tokens |
|---|---|
| Input | $4.00 |
| Cached input | $0.20 |
| Output | $20.00 |
For example, 20,000 uncached input tokens and 5,000 output tokens would cost 0.02 × $4 + 0.005 × $20 = $0.18 at those standard rates, before any other applicable charges. This is a calculation from list prices, not an observed bill. Meta lists Muse Wonder Full as available only through a Muse Code subscription and does not publish a separate API token rate for it.
Choose based on the workflow. If you mainly code in the Muse Code CLI, compare the subscription allowance with your actual use. For your own program or API-compatible client, budget using the per-token API rates. A subscription allowance does not apply to additional API keys.
Should you choose a Muse Code subscription or pay per token?
- To try Muse Wonder: Everyday Usage lists access to Wonder, but confirm the price or availability shown in your account. The plan name alone does not establish that it is free.
- For Muse Wonder Full: Meta currently lists Power and Maximum, at $50 and $200 per month on its public page.
- To connect your own software: Use Meta Model API documentation and token rates; do not use a Muse Code flat fee as an API cost estimate.
- To estimate actual cost: Include observed token use, cache hits, call count and retries. Prompt count and token count are different units.
Muse Wonder subscription FAQ
Is there a free Muse Wonder subscription?
Meta’s public Muse Code subscription help page lists Everyday Usage at $5/month. Prices and availability may vary by region, so check your account’s onboarding flow.
How many tokens come with the $50 Power Usage plan?
The public page says 20x Everyday Usage, but does not convert that allowance to a fixed token total. The 10–50 prompts every five hours description applies to the published Everyday details and is not an exact Power prompt count.
Can I use the subscription with an OpenAI-compatible API?
The subscription key is for Muse Code. Additional Meta Model API keys are billed per token. For programmatic access, check the API documentation and usage rates.
Can I pay per token for Muse Wonder Full?
Meta labels Muse Wonder Full as Muse Code subscription only and lists it with Power and Maximum. The model page does not provide a separate token price.
